Healthy Lands, Healthy Water:
Legal Pathways to a Just Wisconsin
The Door County Environmental Council is presenting “Healthy Lands, Healthy Water: Legal Pathways to a Just Wisconsin” with Adam Voskuil, Staff Attorney at Midwest Environmental Advocates (MEA). He will discuss recent and pending lawsuits that could significantly influence environmental law and protection in Wisconsin.
Attorney Voskuil graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with degrees in Conservation Biology and Sociology and certificates in Environmental Studies and the Integrated Studies of Science, Engineering, and Society. He then earned his law degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with an Environmental and Energy Law concentration. At MEA, he focuses on agricultural law and policy issues across Wisconsin.
Midwest Environmental Advocates is a non-profit environmental law center that advocates for environmental policies protecting natural resources and the health of Wisconsin families. They provide client-centered legal services to individuals and grassroots groups facing environmental threats in their communities by giving Wisconsinites the resources they need to hold industry and government accountable to environmental and public health standards. In many of these cases, MEA directly represents individuals and groups seeking to safeguard natural resources and the communities that depend on them.
