Environmental Council Co-Sponsors Event at
Crossroads
DCEC joined with the League of Women
Voters and Crossroads at Big Creek to help present a new proposal being
made to protect the unique waters of NE Wisconsin.
Because of our karst geology, Door County is presented with different
challenges than most other Wisconsin topographies. Our ground
water is at risk of contamination, as pollutants can travel long
distances underground to poison our wells.
Visitors to this event were treated to vast amounts of information to
help protect their drinking water supplies.
To be informed of these events you only need join DCEC and you'll be
sent a reminder postcard in the mail for each of them.
